Larson udlth Thordsor' Donna KlJfSlUHd Charles Przel Imnne Plurson Ludla Brkkcn Truman Aslcson bertld Mrller Cmrnet Ellwson ,33- 0 nc unreal M PROM On May 13 1954 the Six juniors honored the faculty members of the school board and the seniors at the annual banquet and prom The banquet was held in the Zion Church Basement Promptly at 6 50 a deli crous dinner was served to the honored guests by the Sophomore boys and girls who acted as waiters and waitresses Our menu consisted of tomato luice swiss steak potatoes and gravy buttered corn rolls and butter carrot salad ice cream with strawberries and candy and nuts After the dinner Marlys Anderson junior class president welcomed the guests and introduced those who took part in the program Miss Bernice Rousseau gave a school board and gave a short talk Leatrice Welke Senior class president thanked the juniors for the banquet and prom on behalf of the senior class At 9 00 the dancing started in the gymnasium to the music of Guy De Leo The gymnasium was decorated to the theme Some Enchanted Evening The north end of the gymnasium had the Enchanted Cottage surrounded by flowers The west side was set off from the dance floor by an archway and picket fence That is where the guests were seated The south end had the bleachers turned around to represent a wall decorated with flowers and painted trees Various butterflies adorned the gvm The freshmen served punch from the trcket booth which had a small lawn with lawn chair scattered about A very enjoyable evening was spent by all .34- 09,2 7 7 ll l H . h 9 , . . . . , . , , y 7 7 7 ' . , . .. 7 speech after which Kristen Droen played the piano.
