As we alight from our supersonic space ship, the first person we see is our class sponsor, Miss Viets. Afhm many years of trying in vain, she finally succeeded in catching s man!!! He seems like a nice fellow, for if you will recall he was once a member of the H. H. S. faculty. To journey on we hall a cab, and as we're riding around we see Bill Loseman's name in big letters WANTED CACTUS BILL for cattle rustling in wyoming lon his vacatlonj. Suddenly we notice who is escorting us around the city--none other than June Rohlf. with the faithful guidance of her uncle she has finally learned to maneuver a car by herself. To satisfy our hunger we pull up in front of a swanky place called 'Buddy's Place.n As we enter, we find to our surprise that the place is owned and operated by Bud Mullen and wife, the former'Id1n Ryser. Having had experience in Home Ee. at H. H. S.,LDm is doing the cooking. As we are eating, Lila comes out of her kitchen to talk to us. She tellsusimat Beverly is happily married and living at WaKeeney. We ask Bud where we can rent a sports car. He tells us that down the street a couple doors is the Hurtz Car Rental Service owned by Loren Doebele. Loren 4, invsgxi tggq !??irgg.,, f feee being gone on a business trip, we talk to the sales manager who is Chuck Scheetz. As we glance around, we see another familiar faceg Lois Jean Ludvicek is the firmfs secretary. While waiting for our car to be serviced, we see Billy Dusin selling the Hanover News. He tells us that he is stDl working for Dieker, but he has been demoted to newsboy. An item in the newspaper informs us that th6 EPOMBD basketball team is quite successful under the excellent coaching of Keith Ebeling. An elaborate ad of the Rettig Sand k Gravel Company catches our lance. Roy bought out Mueller's and is doing vemywmll. so we journey on. Turning on the radio, we WON, and to our amazement it is Robert Frah . program is by Spike Jones featuring their hot 8 Our car is ready hear a trumpet playing The next number on the drum er Shirley Schank. While gliding around in our sports car, we large trailer truck. We get out to see if any accidently bump into a damage was done. We find the driver was John Schierkolk now driving a truck for Crome Trucking Company of Bremen. As we are talking to John, a police officer arrives--none other than Donnie Cu ro, a cop? He says he is working under a very famous judge--Maurice Nespor. No damage done, we are quickly on our way. Noticing on a new building, a sign, 'Non-Scratch Sweat Shirts' for dogs, we stop to gain more information. Jerry Burke is the own- er and operator of this enormous establishment. We ask Jerry how business is going: he says that he has one customer who is really helping his business. She is Mrs. David Holbrook, the former Marmdla Allerhelligen, who keeps buying shirts by the dozens for her hus- band's coon dogs. While we are there Marcella comes to buy another supply: she tells us that Lela has given up her nursing career to live in Washington in a new glass house Leland is designing for them. During our conversation we learn Marcella's cousin Marvin-is out in Arizona running a 10,000 acre cattle ranch. Since it's almost time for lunch we stop before a big sign that says 'Holle Kuz1ns.' As we go in, we see that Irene KH1estermanl Holle is the cashier. She always had a knack for handling money. We ask Irene how she is getting along. She just smiles and replies that with her cousin-by-marriage Shirley Cschultzl Holle as head waitress they keep the customers happy. After enjoying a nice lunch and visit with Irene and Shirley, we step out front and look down the street where we see Dale Cook's car loaded with kids. The driver of the car also is a graduate of Hanover High, class of '56, we believe. She, tells us that Dale is working for the ra1lroad,I!xingd1esel engines. 5 After a very busy day we decide to register at the hotel. As wel sit in the lounge we read in the paper mmm Harry Gantenbein islmeak- ing all rushing records in football at K-State. The downtown quarter backs say he couldn't run five yards if it wasn't for his old buddy, Tony Hannon, who is still his faithful water boy. As the sun sinks, we sit and wonder what will happen in the next ten years. 5' ff . 4 em pffwq , magic, ldlfwi .gf , ' ' Y s wag . . 'W' ,Q as 3 5' f .gf sf A Q +04 .- a at W A-Lcd f - gh' Q .
