 HALF A CENTURY AT H.H.S. THE ORIGINATORS CLASS OF 1930 - Standing: Howard Kilpatrick, LeRoy Robinson, Edith Virtue, Wilfred Armstrong, Ken- neth Jeffrey. Seated: Clara Virtue, Leona Cliff, Hazel Harkness, Edith Chapman. 7(s v—J n the thirteenth of August in nineteen hundred and twenty-nine, the corner stone of a new building, the Hanover School, was laid. When the construction was finished, it was only a beginning. On that Christmas vacation when the faculty moved books and materials into this new educational institution, who would have guessed that the young people who entered this school and who graduated from it would set the paths of several generations to come. The education that took place was dedicated to the building of minds and bodies that could change the world to come. 2

DEDICATION It is with pleasure that the Revonah staff dedicates the 1980 Revonah to Mrs. Bette Dayton. Mrs. Dayton taught English in the Hanover School system for five years. During this time she also served as Revonah staff advisor. We are recogniz- ing Mrs. Dayton not only for her hard work, but also for the excellent quality with which she did it. For her understanding nature and genuine con- cern for her students and for her diligent work, the dedication of the 1980 Revonah is our way of congratulating a worthy person on a job well-done.
