DEDICATION It is with gratitude that we dedicate the 1975 REVONAH to Tommy Sheridan. Throughout the years he has spent much of his time helping all classes--whether it is providing for HOMECOMING floats, or spirit buttons for basketball games; he is always lending a hand. He not only serves the school but the needs of the townspeople as well. It is an honor and a pleasure to have Tommy in our community. This is our way of thanking you for your ser- vices. Each of you will be asked to make contributions to our society, that a decade ago would have seemed impossible to make. We have entered into a difficult time. Spiraling prices in our economy continue to plague us; the energy crisis is very real; crime continues to rise; and unemployment continues at a great rate. You, as new citizens of our society, will be asked to help solve these problems. I am confident that each of you will do your share when asked to help. You have been well trained, so now we ask that each of you share with us your ideas and knowledge. May each of you achieve the success you so richly deserve. Sincerely, Mr. Barkdoll PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Congratulations to the Class of 1975! The year you thought would never come has arrived. All of us have completed another successful year at Hanover High School. I want to take this opportunity to thank the student body for their excellent cooperation and attitude. You have had many good memories and bad memories in your school years, but 1 am sure the number of good memories you've had will last for a long time. I ask that you do a few things before you leave your school. Always be proud of your family, church, school and community. Things will never be the same again, and that is the reason we all went to school, so as to prepare ourselves for the future. The future holds for you noth- ing but good and endless opportunities. You have made our life here at Hanover High School richer for knowing and working with you, and I wish all of you nothing but the best. Mr. Murphy r HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY Mrs. Bernard B.S. Through rain or shine, sleet or snow they are running their buses bring- ing students to and from school. So when the big day finally arrived, that devil spirit was everywhere. The seniors sold corsages during the morning; the after- noon spent in anticipation. At 5:30 the parade proceeded down the street with bands, floats, horses, cars, queen candidates, colorguard, letter girls, and kiddies. The student council worked hard and made it one of the best parades ever. After the parade the Freshmen sponsored a deli- cious chili supper. Soon it was 7:30 and time for the game. We played a defensive first half trailing only by 7. Halftime entertainment included a presentation by the marching band and the crowning of Diane Buck by Honorary cap- tain, Jeff Sullivan. Then it was time for the second half; we fought our best but the final score was Mt. Carroll 20, Hanover 0. After the game a dance was held in the gym with the group, Frost, playing. Soon Homecoming 1974 was over, a memorable day for everyone.
