misMUHiiKE nwm DEDICATION DR. RALPH E. SPEER We are very proud to dedicate the 1969 Revonah to a former Hanover High School graduate, who is one of the most needed, outstanding persons in our community. One who works long, dedicated hours, and is often taken for granted. It is with great pride that we wish to honor, DR. RALPH E. SPEER. SUPERINTENDENT AND PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGES An education is one thing that cannot be taken from a person, is a means of improving a person’s lot, and is a necessity for the continuation of our democratic society. In the give and take of the school environment, a student should develop an understanding of himself in relation to the opportunities, obligations, and requirements of life. I am proud to have had an opportunity to be part of your education. To The Students: Congratulations to the student body for another fine year at Hanover High School. I wish nothing but the best for our graduating Seniors. Our Seniors are leaving behind them some of the happiest years of their lives. The future awaits them with nothing but opportunity and a life of satisfaction ahead. Do not be afraid of the future. You are going to live in a better world where many of today’s problems will be solved because of your desire to correct these ills in our nation. 1 would ask that you be a good person, do not be afraid to be proud of your family, community, or nation. You have much to be proud of and to be thankful for. To the students who will be with us next year, work and enjoy school while you have the opportunity. We are proud of our school children because you are our future, and we are optimistic for you. Best wishes for you in the future. 3 7-3 ' SCHOOL CALENDAR - 1968-1969 August 26 .
