CALENDAR OF EVENTS AUGUST 30 - School opens. So soon! SEPTEMBER 14 - Football at Acquin. Off to a good start. 21 - Football, South Wayne here. Whoops! 28 - Football at Hazel Green. Goofed again! OCTOBER 5 - Freshman Initiation. 100% pure green! 9 - Football, Stockton here. That's more like It. 11 - End of first six weeks. Look Ma, no F’sJ 12 - Homecoming, Belmont. We slaughtered 'em. IP - Football at Gratiot. Another victory. 26 - Football, Benton here. Oh well, we tried. NOVEMBER 2 - Football, Port Byron here. It’s getting to be a habit. 16 - Senior Play. Drama hath made its masterpiece! 22-23 - Thanksgiving Vacation. Boy, were we thankful. 29 - End of second six weeks. Brace yourself! DECEMBER 4 - Basketball, Subula here. We ran 'em down. 7 - Basketball, Preston here. Another win. 11 - Basketball at Scales Mound. And another! 14 - Basketball, Galena here. This is getting to be an obsession! 21 - Christmas Vacation. No more school this year. 22 - The day Hokey got bolted ! 22 - Christmas Dance. Them kids ain’t dancin'! JANUARY 8 - Basketball, Warren here. Well, what do you know, wewonl 15 - Basketball at Bellevue. We won again. 16-17 - Semester Exams. Burning that midnight oil. (Who's studying?) 18— Basketball, Scales Mound here. The Editors are running out of winning exclamations! 22 - Country Tournaments at Stockton. 23 - Warren. What a snap! 24 - Elizabeth. Who scored that winning basket?? 25 - Galena. The crowned champs!!
