Gray. ROW 3: R. Cliff, A. Geiger, R. Andrews, T. Thill, C. Straight, L. Fleming, L. Mason, B. Schalble, K. Eadle. JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY There are thirty member! of the Junior class this year. We lost one member the second semester. We had four boys out for football. They were Larry Mason, Bill Leldinger, Bill Gray, and Tom Thill. Four boys from our class went out for basketball. They were Bill Leldinger, Bob Schaible. Lynn Flem- ing, and Bill Gray. Jeane Schuster was cheerleader from our class for basketball. We sold candy, pop, and popcorn at the home games to raise money for our trip next year. Our Junior-Senior Prom was May 24 and ourclass play, You Can't Take It With You, was March 22. In a corner opposite Mrs. Kness, we see JUNE BRANDT, DELORES WESCOTT and PATRICIA BRANDT reminiscing old times. JUNE BRANDT, who is still going to college, hasn't made up her mind as to what she wants to do. She has had several good offers for modeling jobs. DELORES WESCOTT, who has made teaching a career and is teaching Commercial subjects in Savanna High School, has written several books on How to Get Shorthand in Ten Easy Lessons. PATRICIA BRANDT, who is dazzling us all by the size of her diamonds, is also the owner of a chain of Daniel Boone Camps. Next we see PEGGY HECKLER of Peggy's Place , which has proved to be the swankiest restaurant from here to Dubuque, talking to her bouncer, LEROY CURLEY. In high school days LEROY was a bowler, but now his Wednesday nights are spent boxing. LEROY leaves PEGGY and joins singer, LYNN ZUBER, who has been making records between her night club performances. Her latest record- ing is, You Can't Take It With You , which may be a great hit. As the program is about to begin we see Mrs. Allen Smith, formerly known as KAY WINTER, excusing herself for being late, but she says that they had a rush order of picnic tables. The program is now beginning. Master of Ceremonies, AUSTIN MILLER, who has flown up from his oil wells in Texas starts the pro- gram by calling CAROL FLACK and RUTH RYNIEWICZ up to the stage for music entertainment. CAROL and RUTH have sold millions of records of their latest record- ing Blue Moon , which is said by the critics to be better than Elvis Pres- ley. Next in the music department, we have WAYNE THEISEN and DUANE REITZ who have taken Liberace and George's place. Their music is a combination of Liberace and Spike Jones. Tonight they will play Gene Blue Bop” as a specialty for us. Next Mr. Miller calls the speaker of the evening to the platform. It is none other than Prof. RICHARD SPEER, who in his spare time travels around to schools giving pep talks. After the speaker has finished, WAYNE and DUANE play, CAROL and RUTH sing and the rest of the class of '57 dance far into the night. We leave them there.

SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY The Sophomores have been financially solvent since they entered H.H.S. in 1955. In their Freshmen year they placed first in our brief-money making campaign, the magazine sales. In our Sophomore year we came in last. This year we had three cheerleaders elected from our class. They are Karen Theisen, Jeane Speer, and Kay Bradt. Our Homecoming attendant was Kathy Julian. We were very well represented in basketball and football.
