REVONAH 8 SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY AND WHAT DID YOU ENACT? We the Sophomore class of 1952 and 1953 have been an average success this year. We have had a number of bake sales from which we have gained most of our money. We also gave a dance which was not much of a success. We collected $5.80 for the March of Dimes campaign, which went for a worthy cause. We collected quite a bit of money from our magazine sales. We were in third place and very close to second. We have not had many chances to make money so far, but we plan to do better in our Junior year. We entered a float in the homecoming parade, and it was a success. We had fun making it, and the people seemed to like it. A member of ours, Alex Paisley, was picked Honorary Captain for the homecoming, and Jeannie Petitgoue was an attendant to the queen. We are looking forward to our Junior Year. We hope it will be a success as our Sophomore year. FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY EXPOSING WHAT IS MORTAL AND UNSURE' There are thirty-three students in the freshman class with Miss Williams as class advisor. Our class officers are: President, Eugene Ferguston; Vice President, Barbara Butts; Secretary-Treasurer, Carolyn McKinley; Student Council member, Frances Finley. We had three boys out for football; Phillip, Eugene, and Jerry B. For basketball there were six; Eugene, Jerry B., Phillip, Ronald, Martin and Jerry C. There were two cheerleaders also chosen from our class; Carolyn Haug and Carolyn McKinley. Our class hasn't done much about making money this year; although, we did get a good start on our magazine sales at the beginning of the year. We, the Freshman class of '55 wish the Seniors of '53 the Very best of Luck. 19 5 3

REVONAH fife JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY By Indirections Find Directions Out' The Junior Class started 1953 in Hanover High School with twenty-six members. The class officers were elected for the busy year: President, Keith Croffoot; Vice-President, Jack White; Secretary-Treasurer, Norma Kaufman; Student Council member, Joan Larson; and Mr. Richard Wojan as the class advisor. On December 4, 1952, we presented our Junior Class play Junior Miss which was directed by Mr. Wojan. This was one of the many times we had a big success, made money, and still had fun. Our class will always be proud of Bruce Butts, Keith Croffoot, Jack White, Larry Cobine and Max Harksen, who played so gallantly on the football team. Last but not least, we must not forget Jimmy Stutzman and Keith Croffoot who played on the basketball team. In order to raise money for our class treasury, we sold refreshments at basketball and football games, had bake sales, candy sales, gave a dance, and gfcve a chili supper which went over with a big bang I Quite a few of the Juniors help to make the Hanover Hi-Lites a successful and enjoyable school paper. The Juniors and Seniors also sponsored a Sports Night which was very exciting and enjoyable. The Juniors are looking forward to Prom Night which is going to be on AAay 23, 1953. The theme will be Harbor Lights. We, the class of 1954, wish the Seniors much happiness and success. 19 5 3 a
