Klinedinst Captures Miss Nomir Title On October 22, 1987, seven beautiful contestants of hanover high School competed for the title of Miss Mornir. Each one graced the stage with her feminine charm and apparel. Everyone was on the edge of his seat with the daredevil tricycle tricks of Henrietta honycomb (Bob Rice). Tanya Tucker Twiggy of Texas (Steve Wisner) showed off his lasso tricks with the greatest of ease. Bobby Jo Marley (Doug Beckner) gave the audience her sizzling version of Teel Like Making Love, and Lulu Lovebottom (Mark Hoffman) belted out Janis Joplin's Me and Bobby McGee. The talent continued when Florence Flamingale (John Snyder) taunted the audience with her female body- building. Mary Had a Little Lamb was played on the piano by Sleezy Psychedelic Susie (Mark Troyer), and Jes- sica (Corey) Hahn struck some provocative Playboy poses. Our runner-up. Miss Sally Swanson Burger (Shawn Marchio), sang her heart-stirring rendition of The Flint- stones theme song, but it was Miss Legs Lovebomb (Todd Klinedinst) who won the judges over with her exotic hulahoop dancing. Ms. Lovebomb was crowned Miss Nor- nir 1987. Thanks to our judges, Mr. Little, Mr. Bowe, and Mrs. Zatkos, for their expertise and astute insights. Marci Ful- ton, Marty Wheeler, and Jason Menges emceed the program.

Bonfire Finally Gets Lit . . . Again The traditional bonfire finally was lighted on October 22, 1987, prior to the game with York Catholic. Although usually held before the South Western game, this year's bonfire was rained out on this scheduled date. Arsonists attempted twice to set it afire. The first attempt was doused by the fire compa- nyjust prior to the rescheduled bonfire. The second time the fire company allowed the fire to bum out. Within twenty-four hours, students had gathered enough wood to build another bonfire for the game with York Catholic. 16
