Band Last year the 138 member band ended the season by placing 2nd at Nationals in Wisconsin. This year the season started slow with two 4th place finishes, but redeemed itself by placing 1st in all other cavalcade shows. The band was unable to attend its state championships, but it took 1st at the East Coast Regional competition. The band did compete in the top class at States and made a very respectable showing. 46 OPPOSITE PAGE. TOP: RIFLES. ROW 1: M. Keeney. L. Wentz. B. Small. ROW 2: K. Beimler. K. Bish. H. Losee. K. United, we learned, and became counselors to one another. Some entered as strangers. We shall leave as old friends. This is the end of class company and shared memories. This is our last of meeting places. Take it for what it is worth. For tomorrow we may not be together. Some will probably never walk these halls again. Now is our time. Now we go forth. Let us continue what has begun here. Let us never stop learning. We shall continue to reach out and touch, to make peace. Though alone, we will be joined in spirit. Facing the world together. We may never meet again; Nevertheless, all individuals with different goals. But forever members of the Class of 1980.
