But that wwe when she left her home town of Brandon to live on a farm in Minnesota with a Wealthy aunt, some twenty years before the play begins. Having lost her aunt and inherited a large fortune she returns to Brendon, full of pep, dressed fit-to-kill and with ideas for community development years ahead of the sleepy inhabitants of 2 sleepy town. As a nwaker-uppern she has no peer, as the manager of other people's af- fairs she's n whiz, but when problems' concern her own heart and pocketbook she's not so good.
