The presi dent'was Mary Grey,'Vice President, Edith Lloyd, Secre- tary, Edith Judkins, and Treasurer, Ida Mae Craigmyle. The officers of 1941 were President, Wilma Lowry, Secre tary and Treasurer, Marjorie Ruth Grim, and Advertising Manager, Nancy Hyatt. The Boosters Club buys the awards for sports and boosts the ssle of tickets. It also takes eareiof ad- vertising and concessions, and the members of this club take e very active part in boosting the sport events of Hanover School. J KILLING WORKERS The Willing Workers iHome Economics Clubl, sponsor ed by Mrs. May, was organized in 1934. The officers elected this year were: President Jane Matthews, Vice President, Neva Dicus, Secretary Ruth Ann Bovard, Treasurer, Kathleen Clements and Spot- light reporter, Bonnie Ferguson. We hope the whole student body will remember this club for the useful rift to the Home Economics depart- ment, as they made a great deal of the money which was used to remodel our foods laboratory four years ago. f- - ' V , - .. Weir use appointed leader, who, later was succeeded by Mrs. Mae Fisher. The Scouts were then taken over by the present leader, Mrs. C. M. May. She has been the leader for the lest eight years. The troop mode a striking appear- ance when it came out in uniform for the first time in 1958. . - At the present time there are about a dozen girls who belong to this club, under Hrs. May's supervision. The Girl Scouts of Hanover have lived up to their nsme and accomplished many things. Recently ecch Girl Scout has been seen with her knitting needlesg knitting colorful squares. These were sewed together and made in- to a warm blanket, which was sent to Greet Britain. , This is the latest good deed of the Girl 'scouts of Hanover. THE HANOVER PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATION This group of PIDBHCB and teachers have forked faithfully through the years for the betterment of the child and the school. The organization is affiliated with the state and has been rated as both s Standard and Superior Association.
