Hardwork , dedication and communication . . . . . . combined with more inexperi- enced than experienced players, the teams held practice everyday after school unless a game was scheduled. The players soon found out that all of the hard work and dedication helped a lot in the game. They also found out that if you didn’t commu- nicate with the rest of the players on the team it was harder to win. October 11-13.1979 What is a Thespian ? Thespians are an international organization for high school-age actors and actresses. The Thespian Club gives them recognition and experience for a future profession if they choose. The Thespians hope to initiate a system for them to better and get awards similar to sports pro- gram. They want drama at Hanover to become one of the most important extracurricular activities, and at the same time produce quality shows, stated Mr. Gary Young, the Thespi- ans sponsor. In order to be a member of the Thespians each student must spend 225 hours on stage crew or cast. In previous years the only requirement was to pay dues. Mr. Yo ung and the crew have worked many hours on the perform- ance M A S H”. Students and faculty members donated props and costumes for the play.
