If llh The Jets performed in an all-school convocation. Everyone enjoyed the program, but not as much as getting out of class. This demonstration of trampoline skills provided a diverting convocation.

A Journey of a Thousand Commencement Ceremonies started at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 29. The theme of this year ' s graduation was A Journey of a Thousand Miles Starts With One Step. Graduating girls wore blue and the boys wore red. Vice President Leslie Mullel presented the class gifts, a new wooden podium and a portable television, to the school. Valedictorian Tammy Briggs and Salutatorian Jill Neary made speeches at the ceremony. As senior class sponsors, Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Young read off the names of the graduates while Mr. Paquin and Dr. Crabb handed out diplomas. Stu- dent speakers Shelly Casten and Lori Frazee spoke as the class of 77 assembled for the last time. The band played Fanfare and Processional as the graduates marched to their seats. Hundreds of people crowded the gymnasium to watch the seniors gradu- ate. The ceremony ended when the crowd congratulated the graduates. Mary Meyer receives her long awaited diploma from Superintendent Crabb.
