Before Bonfire After The Bonfire was just one of the highlights of Spirit Week. It started with the tricycle race, a snake dance around the school and then the Bonfire was lit. The tug-of-wars began with the freshmen against the soph- omores, and the juniors against the seniors. The winners of both tugged and the sophomores won. Many things were going on during this week besides the Bonfire. There was the pep session, the games, the parade, the hall- decorating, and the dress-up days. Mon. was “Old Folks Day. Tues. was Twinkie Day and slave auction; the games took place on this day also. Wed. was Star Day and for student council members it was slave day. Thurs. was “Kiddie Day and that night was the bonfire. Fri. was School Colors Day and the parade. The big event of all happened Fri. night, the game.
