New Members Increase N.H.S. New members listen intently to Principal Kloyd F. Davis as they await to be inducted. The school cafeteria was the setting for the 1976 Senior Na- tional Honor Society induction, which was held on January 12 at 7 p.m. Senior National Honor So- ciety officers, Lynette Proud, president, Rich Korthauer, vice president, Jayne Mantel, secre- tary, and Francis Darnell, trea- surer, gave speeches on the quali- ties required for membership. Mrs. Josie Weber, sponsor, and Mr. Floyd Davis, principal, handed out the Senior National Honor Society membership cards and pins to the new members. Re- freshments were served after the ceremony. The newly inducted members for this year included seven se- niors and seventeen juniors. A candlelight ceremony set the atmo- sphere for this year’s induction of new members to the Senior National Honor Society. 22
