'AD VE TURE IN CHRI TIAN SER VICE 'i i -1.. To please the Lord Jesus Christ with the meditations of my heart, the thoughts of my mind and the deeds I perform, is Dr. Martin's main goal in life. When asked who he admired, he said, Dr. Robert G. Lee, who recently departed for heaven, and Dr. Ramsey Pollard. They exemplify Christ in their lives and service. They offer a con- stant challenge to my own life and service. Dr. Martin enjoys golf, fishing and photography as his hobbies. He feels, The greatest adventure starts when we accept Christ as our Savior and surrender to His will in our lives. Thrilling it is to see the opportunities of adventure in spiritual growth and the excitement of adventure in Christian service. His plans for the future of the college include: SpIrltually l would like to see our campus, each student and each employ- ee, glorify the lord. Academically, I want us to excel in every place. Physically I want us to provide the buildings needed. Flnanclally I desire to see every bill paid, enough reserve to carry the college through lean days, and income to strengthen the provisions for personnel. These are just a few. My plans offer adventure for all who travel with us.
