THERE 'S NO AD VEN TUI? Once upon a time, a few months ago, it snowed and it snowed, and it snowed. The first snow was pretty, but as the days wore on, the snow stayed on and on and on. But at least this year H.L.G. had an idea to make the snow a little more bearable. The snow slope was not a unique idea but one that proved successful. The project was completed in the fall- all it needed was one snow. And we got one-all winter long! The students at H.L.G. certainly enjoyed themselves when they weren't too busy digging them- selves and their cars out of the snow. Even Mr. Williams took time out from counting cold cash to chip ice off the frozen sidewalks. The use of the snow slope was not restricted to H.L.G. residents, even non-student visitors had great fun sliding and sometimes rolling down The Slope.
