GO GET 'EM GIRLS The festivities of Sadie Hawkins Day began with ribbon snatching. Girls were given a ribbon to wear and forbid- den to talk to any guys. If they talked their ribbon was snatched. The tables were turned that evening however, as the girls tried to grab the guys flags during the Sadie Hawkins Race. Following the race, everyone enjoyed a bonfire at which hotdogs and marshmellows were roast- ed. Scott Butler and Lea Ann Bledsoe were announced winners of the two activities. The day came to a close with the showing of the Jimmy Stewert movie, lt's a Wonderful Life' '.
