Since then, Mr. Phillips has taught continually at North Gallia. l-Ie has taken a deep personal interest in the lives of each of his students, and was much concerned that they prepare themselves to the fullest for the opportun- ities that lie ahead. His goal has been to teach his students to become partici- pants in the progress of America, to be contributors, rather than receivers. Mr. Phillips is retiring from teaching, and he leaves with well-wishes for his fu tur e happiness and success from the staff and his students.
