Ad, ,U C I 2 1 141' Class History All aboard for the most thrilling voyage ever taken by a class of Hannan High School The voyage started in September 1950 A large group of boys and girls packed their books and waved to their parents They started out on the sea of lath, civics, English, Science Some of our crew had to be helped along Often the sea became smoother So we began to sit up and take notice of the happenings around us Thls, was the first step of our journey which is called the Fresh lan year We were now nearing a part which bore the name 30Ph0'0T'e Some of our crew were getting along better now They were becoming more accustomed to the sea life When we reached the part called Junior we were sailing along more smoothly, we noticed that the sea was not as wide as it had been The water was running more swiftly To finance the Junior Senior Banquet, the class gave a play WFeudin Over Iondern, the Banquet was a great success Our officers were Bob Mees, Presldent, Vice President, Lois Wallace, Treasurer, lllton Meadows, Secretary, Clara Pauley, Historian, Susan Taylor The queen was Janet Winkler, the king Alfred Dalton So ends the third part of our journey on a good ship, WHannan ligb W For the last part of our voyage we selected as our officers, Bob lees, President, Ruth Shank, Vice President, Clara Pauley, Secretary, Geraldine Powers, Treasurer, Opal Jean Holley, Historian we gave our play 'Girls will be Boysn, which was a great success you were Mr Withers, Mr Smith, Hr Canlford, Mrs Mitchell, Mrs Criss, Mrs Meadows, Mr McCoy, Mrs Brake, Mrs Withers, Mrs Sayre Mr Dial, Mr Hariff, Hr Meadows, lr Birurakis, Miss Durst, Mr Creleans, Mr Loughrie Hr Fisher, Hrs Holley, and many more The sea is so narrow that we can now see the shore To the many teachers we have had we want to tell you how A lY01'1iGI'fl11.
