Chorus Many of I'lanna's students are very dedicated to a special talent: singing. During fifth pe- riod each day, the chorus could be heard singing their hearts out. These enthusiastic students were taught by an equally en- thusiastic teacher, Mrs. Stella Crandis. Mrs. Gandis received a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Music Education from ln- diana University, and has been teaching at Hanna for six years. The chorus was involved in many concerts throughout the year. These included five performances during the Christmas season, a concert with the county chorus and a spring concert in April. The members also participated in the Fine Arts Festival in May. For example, many of Hanna's 1. students dedicated much of it their free time away from school to playing in the Ander- son Youth Symphany Orches- tra. The entire orchestra, led by Mr. Kramer, was involved in many different events throughout the year. Some students who were exception- ally talented competed in All- State competition.
