Open House Open House was held in October to permit parents and teachers to become better acquainted. Sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Association, this event was supported by several groups: the Chorus and String Ensemble performed, and SAE members distributed the stu- dents' schedules. Me 'N My R.C. lt always happens! Never fails! As each 9-week period comes to a close, students get very tense. Why? Well, maybe their favorite teachers wouldn't give them that one extra point to pull an A in their classes, or perhaps that 69 on the trig test that they pushed to the back of their minds two weeks ago, is slowly edging its way back into memory. Report Card Time during 1986-87 was especially tense because of a new grading scale. The new system did not allow as great a point spread as in the past years. Spirit's What We're Yelling For Over the years, Spirit Week has become a popular tradition here at T.L. Hanna. The students partici- pate by dressing up in costumes they put together themselves. Each day of the week has a different theme. This year's themes were Rambo, college T-shirt, Hobo, and Westem days.
