MW' Le Cercle Francais Meetings ofthe French Club are conducted in French in order to increase the members' proficiency in the language. Learning about the location and geography of France proved interesting to the members. Several speakers added to the enjoyment of the club during the year. A- F ls- Spanish Club Maintaining a B average in second or third year Spanish enables a student to be- come a member ofthe Spanish Club. Learning the Spanish culture and gaining an insight into the language and customs helps to bridge the communication barriers. The members in- crease their Spanish speaking ability and speak the language fluently. Native speakers at the club meetings help to convey more realistic views of the Spanish speaking coun- tries.
