Sammy makes a lay-up. This year's Yellow Jackets posted a 9-7 record in the region and a 12-7 record overall during the regular season. Led by Barry lsom, who averaged 16.5 points and 11.7 rebounds per game, the team was a threat to all on the schedule. lVlack Elrod, Sammy Brown, and Jeff Perkins were formidable, both from the field and the foul line. Coach Emery Anderson Spartanburg 10 led his team to a 6-6 standing in the region. Batting a Anderson Gaffney 10 tremendous .432 average was lVlike West, followed by Anderson Daniel 1 Robert Gambrell with a .392 batting average, and Anderson Wade Hampton 1 third was Bonnie Eskew with .324.
