Class Will We, the Class of '56, being of sound bodies and minds, hereby state our last will and testament, to the under- grads and teachers of our school, hoping that they will make good use of them. To Mr. Robb - Anothc r troubleless school year. To Mrs. Kuster-Another brilliant 11-12 grade English Class. To Mrs. Bryant-A warm room. To Miss Palmbach-A box of typing supplies for her typing classes. To Mr. Vixie-Another Government Class like the one of the classes of '56 '57. To Mr . Goodwin-All our smiles and a decent Home Economics Room. To Mr. Sandala-Quieter Study Halls. We also will to all the teachers more classes like ours. I. Shirley Aim, will my lady like ways to Gabby Gorski. I, Dave Jones, will my ability to go steady for a year to Judy Mary Marks and Charles Cherry. 1, Alida Saylor, will my back seat in study hall to Ed Resetar. I, Don Hunter, will my ability to fix cars, and work hard and get nowhere in basketball to Fleo . (Gary Jones) I. June Drader. will my ability to stay short to Norman Doll, also by ability to get driver's licenses to Janet Hundt. I, Jim Per , will my ability to make passing grades in English and Chemistry to Dennis Spencer. I. Betty Louderback, will my quiet ways to Virginia Galbreath. I, Pat Kauchak, will my John Wayne voice to Richard Lashua. I, Lou Ann Rosenbaum, will my shortness to Maralee Marks and my excessive weight gained in the next 5 years to Janet Hundt. I, Bill Lile, will my catty ways and my ability to make out with women from other towns to Jake. (Jerry Roberts) I, Marilyn Pranckus, will my ability to lose my temper to Lmda Eaton. I, Carol Shei, will my ability to keep my fingernails short to Art Bennett. We. the Senior boys, will our ability to kill time in the boy's restroom to the Freshmen boys. We, the Senior girls, will our ability to chew bubble gum in Mr. Vixic's class to the Freshmen girls. Class Motto: Big things arc built on small things well done. WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP October 26 was a very special day for four Hanna Seniors: Dave Jones, June Drader, Lou Ann Rosen- baum, and Carol Shei, At 6:45 P. M. they along with other County Seniors, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Chase, and Mr. and Mrs. John Dunk boarded the Baltimore and Ohio Streamliner, The Columbian from Wellsboro. This trip was earned by selling Herald-Argus subscrip- tions. After an all night trip aboard the train, enjoying both supper and breakfast, they arrived in Washington, D. C. the following morning. Places of interest which they saw during their trip were: The Capitol, Washington Monument, White House Lincoln Memorial. Bureau of Imprinting and Engraving, and Smithsonian Institute. Mount Vernon, Arlington Cemetery, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Memorial Amphitheater. Lee Mansion, House of Burgesses. Jamestown and York- town, were also visited. A two night stay on The Old-Bay Line Steamer was also enjoyed during the trip. At approximately 6:00 Saturday Evening, they boarded The Columbian for the journey home. After eating supper, they enjoyed another sleepless night. They arrived at Wellsboro Sunday morning at 6:44, sleepy and worn out, but glad that they went. 35
