cu E N cu DD cts E Y l' T3 Lite Literary magazine creates emotion This year was The Exeter- literary magazine's fifth year at Hanks. It was made up of some of the most creative writers found on campus. In the past two years they have received various awards. Among them were: first place, second place and honorable mention in short story writingg first, second, and third place and honorable mention in poetry writing, second place in layout designg first and second place in art workg second and third place in humorous essay. The Exeter had a membership of forty students and it's officers were elected by the members. The club wanted to raise enough money to offer two or three scholarships for writers in their organization. I find the students who are involved energetic, enthusiastic, and l enjoyed working with them, said Dora de Ia Rosa, sponsor. Besides, l never know what they are going to think of next, so they keep me on my toes.
