,, .55 lnd ustrial Arts students learn safety techniques. One good thing about industrial was that it gave an idea of what work- ing in the construction business would be like. The class was taught by Neal Gris- wold and it involved learning to work with wood and the different electri- cal tools. To do good in these classes it was necessary to have a good imagina- tion and creative abilities. A good un- derstanding of math was also useful. The industrial arts department of- fered general and advanced wood- working, general and architectual drafting and engineering graphic classes. These courses were designed to meet the students interested in workmanship and manufacturing techniques. lt's a fun class to take and it gives you a lot of experience, said Art Car- reon. we 1 g.-X.
