S tud nt Lif Last year we prepared for a return to excellence. Our standards were boosted and our limitations were tested. Administrators had greater expectations from the students. At times it became unbearable, and often it seemed impossibleg but as Knights we didn't let that hinder our pride. A lack of enthusiasm at pep rallys and other related social events prevailed. The adjustment to House Bill 72 was burdensome. Teachers became weary with all the paper work involved, and students were confused with so many rules coming out in every direction. Nevertheless, Hanks High School continued on in dignity with a glimmer of hope. This year it was vital to adjust or else be adjusted. It became necessary to have an open mind. School life continued on despite the changes that became the norm. It was our task this year of PUTTING THE PlECES BACK TOGETHER.
