NIGHT EAW S NVith more than 2,000 adults enrolled in classes during the school year, the Hanford Evening High School has had an in- crease in enrollment of approximately thirty per cent over the preceding year. Byron McCormick, the evening high school principal, has a staff of thirty-one full time and part time in- structors. The evening high school not only offers opportunities to do regular high school Work, but also provides outlets for specialized study, social and recreational needs of adults. Among the classes offered are agriculture, homemaking, cit- izenship, English for foreigners, commercial subjects, sales- manship, music, arts and crafts, folk dancing, nutrition, Portu- guese, physical education, woodwork, welding and lathe work, home designing, first aid, mathematics, and camera craft.
