. . . guided by the Cit ce . . . The Board of Trustees is the link between the com- munity and the school, for the men composing it are the direct agents of the taxpayers. They devote much of their time gratuitously to the many business matters so im- portant to the operation of a school. The responsibilities of the Board of Trustees are many in order that the school will function smoothly. They hire all the teachers, and map out the school year before it starts, watching that the school calendar contains the required number of school days. They sign all bills to be paid, enter into contracts and agreements, and insure all property. All building programs come under their super- vision. The Board of Trustees of the Hanford High School is composed of five members: Homer Tibbs, chairmang Carl Duffy, clerkg and Louis Giacomazzig Louis Barbonig and Cassius Clark. We, the students of Hanford High, are grateful to these men behind the man who governs the school. Top tu bottom: Carl Duffy, clerk: Louis Barbnni, Louis Giacomazzi,l'assius Clark.
