Sf OVEWOI' Twenty years ago the Handley High School began its initial year with an enrollment ot nearly one thousand students lt is with pride and ad- miration that we look back on the classes that have preceded us, and-which have helped to make the Handley we know. With great hope and an- ticipation we look to the tuture. We feel we are now beginning a new era in which growth and great change are inevitable. lt is with this in mind that we have composed the V943 Handlian, hoping that it may be a tan- gible expression ot what Handley means to us today. We have endeavored to retlect truly the inspiration and value ot our school lite and to show the ettorts and achievements ot a Handley-at war lt, in tuture years, this book brings back memories ot these happy school days, its purpose will have been tultilled.
