Ome of our most popular and kindest teachers at Hancock is Miss Helen Tebow, who has served Hancock for 25 years. Miss Tebow was born in Maryville, Missouri where she attended high school and Northwest Missouri State Teachers College, where she received a B. S. Degree. Later she attended Columbia Teachers College in New York, receiving an M. A. Degree in comnercial education. She did addi- tional work at Gregg College in Chicago. After two years of college work, Miss Tebow taught in the granmer grades, then returned to college to major in English and mathematics, After teaching math for several years, she decided she'd like comnercial work, so returned to college again and took one year of corrmercial education. At Hancock, she sponsored the senior classes for seventeen years, the yearbook for twenty years, and the school paper for ten years. This is Miss Tebow's last year at Hancock after these years of service to our school. To you, Miss Tebow, we dedicate the Sports Section of the 1954 Memento 79
