The 30 members hold a meeting every Monday night to discuss busi- ness at hand. After the business meeting they play basketball and volleyball. I .Among the events enjoyed by the boys 1S an outing which is held'at the close ofthe year at Spring Forest. Together the Y-Teens seek to enrich their own lives and to do their share in building a better community. Their goals are to grow as persons, to grow in friendship with people of all races, religions, and nationalities, and to grow in the knowledge and love of Cod. 'lhe club consists of thirty-nine girls and meets every other Wednesday at seven o'clock for a business meeting and to plan recreation for the group with the help of their leader, Miss Marguerite Hensley. The officers are Ibnna Jean Beck - Presi- dent, Thelma Kroeck - Vice-President, Erna Gray - Secretary, and Carol Niederstadt as Treasurer. Some of the activities sponsored by the Y. W. C. A. that the Hancock Y-Teens participated in are Open House at the new Y. W. C. A. building, Hobby Show, Gxili Supper, a Mother-Daughter reception, and the Snow Ball Prom at which our Treasurer, Carol Niederstadt was. crowned Miss Y-Teen of 1954. The recreations of the Y-Teens were a Christmas Dance, Paj ana Party, and, picnics. The club hopes to raise enough money to send the girl to the Y-Teen Convention this sumner.
