With her guidance and the leadership of their officers, Velda Kieninger - President, George Bude - Vice-President, Donna Beck - Secretary, and Joy lleimann - Treasurer. They have become a very active organization. 'Ihey have assisted the Achievement Comnittee of the Student Council in establishing a Junior Honor Society for under- classmen, purchased apencil dispenser, assembled the sc,hool honor roll, and have held the first Annual Honor Society Banquet. . It is made up of boys who have been selected by the faculty, screened by the members of the club and judged mainly on their scholastic ability and service to the school. The purpose of the club is to build character and leader- ship and to assist the school in social and comnunitv affairs. 'lhe meetings are conducted under the supervision of Mr. Karcher, the school sponsor, and George Pude, President. There is usually an important businessman at each meeting to speak on success in various fields. This helps give to each boy a wider outlook on business had helps him to select his own career. New 1 ers were inducted into the organization February 23. 'Ihe officers of the Society are Carol Niederstadt - President, Barbara Potter - Vice-President, and Sue Mayberry - Secre- tary.
