This beautiful space ship you see before you was built by our two foremost scien- tists, GORDON KRONSBEIN and RICHARD COUNTS, and their assistants were JERRI RIETH and JOAN GHOLSON. They plan to cover the entire universe and hope' to break the record of 7 hours, 42 minutes, and 39 seconds set by DAVID CORNELL and BOB SEXTON. The will blast off in 'about fifteen minutes, but during this inte:-minion we'll interview some of our spectators. Here s a fine looking young man. What's your name and how old- are you? I'm 6 years old and my is DAVID ALEXANDER II. What kind of work does your father do? 'lOh, he's the Third Vice-- President of all the Kroger stores. What do yan think the space ship will do today? 4' It will definitely break the previous recordf' All- right and thank you, DA VID. Look whowe have over here, two ofour most famous movie stars, MARIAH RICHARD and AUDREY O'SHEA. Hello ladies, f 9 I KJ Q-fa N 6' . 4 4 V N .. x.--1 ,4 fu 11 tfffsyf do you think the space ship will break the record? Oh, we hope so for we both want to go to Mars and make our next picture' Look-who just came intoour view, the famous singers, The Starettes, DONNA JEAN BECK,--FAITH BENZ, RICHARD NAERT, BOB GRAY, RUTH BRADLEY, and JIH WHITE.. The ship will be ready to take off in a few seconds, so lim sorry but we wonlt be able to interview them, and I must hurry and get aboard ship. While the ship is blasting off I will introduce you to the important people on boardship. We have with us the famous 5 Star Gen- eral, ROGER KRECHELg the Duke of Sappington, SHELIY FARllERg and the two marriage counselors, JOAN RE1'1'I G and JOHN SHEPPARD, who are now married, have nine kids, and are still happily married. The pilot and co-pilot are TDI MICHAEL! and ARLENE POPP.. BARBARA DEATON, the dare- devil of the jets, was supposed to go on the trip, but couldnyt make it cause her mother said she had to stay in today. Our first stop was Vamp, wherewe were greeted with royalty hy the First Lady, ARLENE RISCH.. She took us in to her blue roommas she called it, where to our amazement we saw three of the most obedient and faithful slaves every they were BOB LUTZ, DON PARR,and BILL THRASHER. .They were the most submissive slaves you ever did see for they fought among themselves to see who would obey her majesty's every wish. All this time we were won- dering where the King was, when the Queen said'to us, Hare comes the King with the rest of his harem. Into the room walked proud and defiant CHARLES BRUNNER followed by SANDRA AIOSIER MARTHA DORRIS, LUCILE FRITTS, and KATHLEEN RQTAHY.. We told the King that we had to hurry on sowegot'back board on ship and once again we were dodging stardust and metorites, when we sighted a stow-away, IYILDA GREEN.. Sie told us she liked going to school there, but she just couldn't stand staying away from our lively company any longer. We then spotted Mars, our next destination. We landed with a bump and we were a hit shaken. 'lhen we heard a rap on the door. We looked out and thought we rrcognized a friend, sowe got out of the ship and was im- mediately taken captive by a very weird looking. character, MICKEY NEUSTAEDER.. MICKEY was taking us to an underground cavern where there was a circle of people standing around. When they sawus enter they lookedupand we innndiately recognized ERIIA BARKER, DALE FOSTER. PEGGY DUGGE, and CARL DIPPEL-l They said- that since they couldn't do what they wanted when they 'were YOUHSGF, they were doing it now and were the dictators of Mars. We were by now very hungry 9. 59. L .N Q MX! A A . gli 33

so we went to a Steaky and Shaky on Pluto. The cars-hop came up and asked us what we want- ed, it was VELDA KIENINGER. We talked to her for awhile and she told us. the IIARYIN EVANS, fastest of the steak flippers., worked there also. A souped-up jet pulledup along sideqf ug andwho should jmpout hut GAROL BUSSE, B.'BELLE BOLTON, and: VERDIN., They invited- Us to come to the P.C. Q-Pluto Cluhl and see the famous bubble twins JEAN and JOAN LANDIANN. We were going to accept, but told them our time was running, out, and we still had three more planets to visit. We pulled out of Steaky and Shaky and headed for Jupiter. As we were flashing through time, we tuned in on our space-o-gram radio. 'lhe program My Friend Mar Lynn, 3' Starring DELORES STIBAL and HAR LYNN SQUIRES, was just coming on. We listened for a while before turning to e different program Bribe and Groom. The newly-weds were PEGGY PARKER and BYNUAI YELKER. We wished them happiness greater than all the universe. It was dark when we landed on Jupiter so we decided to take in a night spot. We went over to Madi- sons where they have a new sax player, RICHARD NUEBLFAMH, and boy, is he ever hep to the j1ve. l'le's better than 'aligt Tarter. We saw sone of our old cronies, PAT IATKINS, BETTE M if ol NCIRORTER, JACKIE LEHIKUHL, and BARBARI BOETTCHER teaching the younger generation how to Shag- Stag. We then went to Tuma, where they have a new floor show starring JAGKIE KEEPER accom,- panied by BARBARA BIRKENNEIER and DONA STRECKFUSS.. It was very orginal. As we were 'walking down the street taking in the sights, a bill-board stating that some of our old classmates have top billing at the huge and famous Bene, caught our attention. The first act starred JOY HEIIIANN, who swung 250 feet in the air holding on toarope with just tln aid of her teeth Ca good thing they weren't falsel. CAROL BOSLER was in the second act where she stood on a 200 foot platform and dove down intoabarrel ofwater that was 5 feet- wide andsfeet deep. All of a sudden there was a roar from the drums and out walked CAROL GERHARDT, who did a tight-rope stunt walking across a nylon rope on her two big toes, without a net. We wanted to watch all of the show, but we were pressed for time. We got back into our space-ship and set our dials for Saturn.. While speeding. through' space we heard a siren. It was the Space Patrol. As they jumped from their space ehip to ours we knew we were in for it. But instead of looking angry they were smiling and singing our old school song Onward Hancock so we joined in. 'L J, fff AFP .. QW :- After the song was over we recognized two of the three cadets, EUGENE SPITZNAGEL and RONNIE ZIIINERIAN, but.we couldn't figure out who the third one was for he was as round as a barrel and bald-heeded. Mich to our surprise, it was none other than JOHN DEITRIGI. The captain of the Space Patrol was JOAN THYII and her favorite cadet is JOHN LONG.. We said good-bye and con- tinued on our way. As we entered the smoke ring around Saturn, we finally found out who sup- plied the smoke, AL IANSER. We went to Saturn's Tweet Shop and sitting at the counter sipping a coke was MARILYN IILLIAIIS... We asked her what happened to the rest of the gang' and she told ns that NORIA IARTIN was the most cultured artist' on Saturn, BETTY AUER and IERLINE CRISLER were now bobbi-pin demonstraters since they had so much practice at school. ARLENE BROWN is now a house wife who lives with her mother. They are a little overcrowded since ARLENE just had her 12th child, but she always said They're cheaper by the dozenfm LARRY SCHNIDT and JODIE TATE let their crew cuts grow out and now they advertise the latest thing inmen's hair styles, and DON ROBERTS, with his wavy, bl-ack hair had stolen the hearts of all the bobby?- soxers with his romantic baritone voice. MARILYN, then said Oh Heck, I' forgotlto tell you 34
