SENIOR CLASS HISTORY On a bright September morning in l9b3 another class of first graders started their long twelve year stretch. At least it seemed long then, but we are sure everyone in the class of So will now agree that the years have gone by very fast. Of course not everyone who started out in this first class is still with us. The uorig- inalsn are: Ronald Swanson, Karen Nelson, Kenneth Walton, Jean Swenson, Joanne DeGier, Sharon Grossman, and Kath1yn dose. Every Freshman looks forward to the inevitable initiation with much excitment and our class was without exception. We do not think anyone will forget what each one of us went throuvh to become initiated. Our Sophomore year won us a prize for our float that we had entered in the Homecoming Parade. We believe the Junior year was the busiest. At Homecoming time our class was honored by the crowning of our candidate for Homecoming Queen, Antoinette Grammentz. Our rings were chosen in our Junior year also. This was a very big event to us. Our class play, HCheaper By The Dozenu which was out on in December was a new exper- ience and also a lot of fun. Soon after Christmas of this same eventful year we all be- gan thinking about the Junior-Senior Banquet. Later we began the actual planning and on May 21 the banouet took place with the theme being UDown Mexico Wayn. Now we are the NMighty Seniorsn. We sometimes wonder how we ever made it. In November we took a special trip to Moorhead, and we do mean special, for we had our class pictures taken. Then came our Skip Day, Class Play, and finally Graduation on June lst. Everyone who has graduated before us tells us high school years are the best years of our lives and they also say they wish they had studied harder when they were in school. Right now this seems a bit silly but we have a feeling we too shall think back to those Hbestn years and wish we had studied harder and perhaps wish we were back. 3 li ll . if wg ,, Speech 3' ls, 1 V' W 3 M , .,., t,.. t Jlawed Home EC girls Combine her hair , ' T i, I , ' slv 'Yr v i i 'E' , W gy, A if illgigl .
