Class Colors Green and Sllver Class Flower Yellow Rose Class Motto Frnd a way or make one Twenty three little tots entered the doors of H H S on September 4 1941 Wlth a few gams and losses we managed to enter Junror hlgh chool wxth 20 students In our freshman year we had the large t rn crease of students coming in from the country There were 34 ln our freshman class and hap prly all pulled through the year Coming back ln our sophomore year we no so decrded to do our best wlth only 27 left And we dld for everyone came back for our Junior year and we even had a new member Relner Bohlen During the junior year we enloyed presentxng our class play Miss Jlmmy on November 1. which was a riot Wlth the proceeds from our play and proflts from selllng at the games we managed to put on our Jumor semor banquet X4 Our theme was Deep Sea with no sea ot course After that we walted patxently for the last day of school We reached our senior year with 27 happy students nxne of whrch started school together in flrst grade They were Marllyn and Marion Schmldgall Helen Jepma Margaret Heil Vrolet Malland Lyle Zeltwanger Danlel Hanson Har vey Gorder and Calvln Den Bestfen school paper and class play The highlights of the year were rnitiatlon of the freshmen senior play Jumor semor banquet slup day to the C1t18S and of course the usual senior fun Our skip day was quite the enjoyable day which we will always remember G-raduatxon ended these happy years and we hated to leave good old H H S EJ' N J -I , ss ry ' ' . . . , .
