The l'oard sets all the pol- icies for the school, provides for funds and approves the budget. Their interest must range overawide area The superintendent meets with th1s group which now cons1sts cf six members elected for a term of three years each In the last few years their efforts have consisted ma1nly 1n obtaining new property improving old buildlngs and erecting new ones They are largely re sponsible for our AAA rating

SUPERINTENDENT i The conscientious conductor and effi- cient director of our school is Mr. James L1DdhUPSt, our superintendent. Before ac- cepting his present position, he was the high school principal. Mr. Lindhurst is very enthusiastic about his hobby, fishing in Missouri's streams. Idleness and tardiness are two words he never uses in his vocabulary when telling students how to be a success in life.
