We worked, we played, we had our fun We also shed some tears. We pause now in retrospect Upon our happy past And realize with much surprise That time has flown so fast. Not long ago we couldn't wait Until that future day When the credits would be accounted for, And weld hear a voice say, uYou've made the grade, you've done well. Schooldays now are oierf, We'd close our hooks and toss them out. We'd never study more. All dressed up in our caps and gowns, Weld walk right down that aisle To get that hard earned diploma. And at the crowd weld smile. But now the time is very near When we must say goodbye To all our friends and classmates Here at Central High. Somehow it makes us wonder As these things come to mind, Will future years be as happy As those we've left behind? We know that to our schooldays We must say farewell, And as for what the Future holds, Only Time will tell.
