IN CHEMISTRY we learn to live and act more intelligently and with greater understanding and satisfaction in an ever increasing complex civilization -- in a country that is now on the threshold of the atomic age. IN AGRICULTURE the rural school of- fers opportlmities plus practical experi- ence in farming. Those who take agri- culttte are given the chance to be mem- bers of the Future Farmers of America. This organization gives further training in special fields of farming. MORGAN'S MUSIC SHOP ANDERSON, INDIANA PETE'S RADIO SHOP GREENFIELD, INDIANA IN LATIN we study the Roman people whose influence on the world was great. The study of Latin makes the study of English grammar easier: it enlarges our vocabulary as a great percent of our words are of Latin origin.

IN SHOP we learn to use our hands as well as our minds. We learn to make useful articles from wood or metal, to care for the tools we use, and to get along and work together under varying conditions. The shop is an excellent place to learn self-discipline and self-con trolg thus enabling us to meet the needs of society when we leave school. AH- -xg THE HOMEMAKING CURRIC- ULUM is designed to develop all phases of homemaking including beginning, intermediate, and ad- vanced courses in foods and clothing home nursing, child development and care, personal and family re- lationships, budgeting and prepara- tion for marriage.
