On behalf of the entire Hancock educational community, I would like to extend my congratulations to the class of 1986. Hopefully, your education has given you a strong foundation for college or work. However, it is important to remember that your education at Hancock is just the beginning of a lifetime of learning. As you leave Hancock, please remember to set high goals for your life and to work hard to achieve your goals. DR. ROBERT URZILLO, SUPERINTENDENT Dear Seniors 86,” As a newcomer to Hancock, most of you probably know me if at all, only as the Elementary School Principal. Nevertheless I wish to extend to each of you warm regards and sincere congratulations as you prepare to leave the first phase of your education and begin a new phase. For some of you this may include college or university, but for all of you it most importantly consists of living as adults Life is the greatest educator 1 know of and what you learn from life from now on is pretty much up to you. It can teach you a lot or nothing, it can broaden your understandings or narrow your vision; it can lead you to developing your personalities and relation- ships with others which are healthy and satisfying, or harden your outlook and constrict your abilities to love and care and respect others largely as you choose. I share these thoughts with you at this time on behalf of those elementary principals you have known, whether here or elsewhere during your school lifetimes. I'm sure I speak for them as well as myself when I share these ideas with you. As persons who have had some influence in helping shape the persons you are now, we principals continue our interest in who you are yet to become. Best of luck and good wishes in your lives and learning. A d m i H I S t r a t i o n SINCERELY, DR. HARRY J. SHELDON ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL BOARD OF EDUCATION Standing: Mr. Sanders; Mr. Wrighter; Mr. Morgan; Mr. Karcher, Mr. Lester, Clerk; Dr. Sheldon, Principal Sitting: Mrs. Neild; Mr. Buckley, President; Dr. Urzillo, Superintendent.
