---------------------- —— ■ Business MR revelle : ELEM PRINCIPAL To The Class of 1981: Thomas Jefferson once said, I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past. We are all concerned about the future, since that is where we will spend the rest of our lives! Having worked with you during some of your years at H.C.S., I see an optimistic future. While it has always been popular to point out shortcomings of our young, I do not endorse this for one minute. Rather, I see the strengths and potential of our young adults and the contribu- tions they will make to our country and society. You have much to offer. Hopefully, you have gained some basic tools during your years at H.C.S. which will assist you in this endeavor. In a world which is changing as rapidly as ours, these lessons will have to be up- dated regularly. Lewis Carrol wrote, That's the reason they are called lessons......because they lessen from day to day.
