Seventy-five is the year of the diamond - and your achievement of attaining a high school diploma is as valuable and precious as the diamond symbol your graduation year represents! As diamonds last forever, so will everything that you gained during your high school years here in Hancock be of everlasting value to you. The following quotation from C. A. Bartol is also fitting for your year of graduation: As diamond cuts diamond, and one hone smooths a second, all the parts of intellect are whetstones to each other; and genius, which is but the result of their mutual sharpening, is character, too! Best wishes for good health, wealth, and happiness to you in the future! Sincerely, 66 John W. DORIS CHAMBERLAIN As we leave and go our separate ways: We'll often remember those precious days. Of striving, and working to become someone, And you would assist until we were done. Making sure we understand why we wet right. Or why we were wrong, due to an oversight. You prepared us to face the world as adults should, And how to handle situations the best that we could. Now we would like to do something for you. With this dedication and our sincere gratitude We hope that your retirement years will be happy and rewarding. ATHLETICS VARSITY FOOTBALL 1st ROW, L-R: J.
