CHEHOCTON THROUGH THE YEARS H.C. S. , January 1953-- The Freshman Class has an- nounced that it will hold record dances for 154 after the home basketball games in the gym. Come our and support the Freshmen! H.C.S. , November 1953-- The Class of '56 is selling sweat shirts, decals, and scarves. Buy one of these shirts or scarves and be in style! The decals show that you are from Hancock --will stick on all sorts of hard surfaces. January 1954--The Sopho- more Class will hold a Pan- cake Supper starting at 5:00 o'clock Wednesday evening at the school cafe- teria. June 1954--A delightful picnic was held by the Sophomore Class at Lake Hiawatha, Pa. Mr. Faigle provided the transportation to and from the lake. A large majority of the class members attended this af- fair. A good time was had swimming, toasting hot dogs and marshmallows, dipping into the pickles, and enjoying a luscious watermelon. JUNIORS GET RINGS 'I'he class of 1956, after long anticipation, has fi- nally received class rings for its members. 'I'he group has been proudly showing them to friends and rela- lives. December 1955--After the home games the Juniors are selling candy, coke, and hot chocolate. This seems to be a really suc- cessful enterprise. The Juniors announce the Junior Hop. Round and Square Dances will be played by Keith Albee and his Orchestra in March, 1955. SENIOR YEAR Buy a magazine subscrip- tion from the Seniors! ---- FLASH. . .Ray Elwood wins trophy and radio for being high salesman! H,C,S. , November 1955-- A three-act musical com- edy entitled Father was a Housewife will be pre- sented by the Class of '56 on November 19 at 8:00 P. m. This is a rollicking story of family life. 7592 per person. . .bring your whole family!! 1956--The Seniors are working on the '56 Year- book. Anyone who has any pictures, please turn them in to the Yearbook Staff or Mrs. Mack. They will be greatly appreciated. SENIORS STAYING HOME EVENINGS. . . Members of the H.C.S. Senior Class are staying home evenings to save their money for the Senior Trip. Great plans are being made.
