Horseback riding, fishing, hunting are given as his hobbies and he dislikes conceited groups of people. His likes, however, include horses, trailer camps and cars. Frankly, we're puzzled over the cause of his death. Our 'man of the hour,' Charles Brewer, had the honor of being born in the county seat, Delhi, on December 18, 1934. A member of the band, of which he is president during his Senior year, a member of orchestra for four years and a delegate to the All-State Band at Rochester, we find that one of Charl1e's hobbies is playing his trombone, and that he would like to be a music teacher. A leader among the Seniors, he has been president of his class for the last two years, is the president of the student council and is a member of the Honor Society. He has played on the baseball, football and basketball teams, having been captain of the last two in his Senior year. His portrayal of 'Herbert Gage' in the Senior play will long be remembered. Charlie has also been active in the A.A.B., of which he is president this year. Hie fondest memory in high school was his Junior year and English III.
