Drama Club Presents They Went Thatavvay They Went Thatawayn, a com- edy western, was presented by the Drama Club. Many long hours of rehearsal and hard work were put in the preparation of the play. The presentation was given on three consecutive nights in the high school cafetorium. The play proved to he a big success as it brought together a capacity crowd each night. In Ianuary, the Drama Club also performed one act skits at Winthrop for contest judgment. A - The audience sits spellbound at the fantastic performance. Throughout the past year the staff of the school news- paper, the Hawkeye, has endeavored to serve the students of Hanahan High with accurate, relevant. and interesting reporting of events pertaining to the school and its stu- dents. Co-editors Beverly lordan and Angie Lane have coor- dinated the effort to produce a well-written newspaper for the students of Hanahan. Their work has been greatly enriched by the efforts of sports editor Gary I-Iynclman and the staff of writers. A member of the South Carolina Scholastic Press Asso- ciation, the Hawkeye will continue to be an example of good journalism as well as the voice of the students.
