E6 NNW: W ,W ANNETTE KARAS KATHLEEN PRYC HITKO Annette Karas, through four years of diligent study, has earned for herself the respected honor of being the class valedictorian. This fun-loving girl has sailed through high school on a college prepara- tory course with an 98. 75 average. She is a member of Miss Annie Cairns' homeroom and secretary of the senior class. Serving as president of the National Honor Society and Girls' Athletic Association took much of Annette's time, but she also man - aged to hold the office of vice pres- ident and publicity chairman of the chorus. She is an active member of the Future Teachers of America and the Hi-Teens Club. Meriting the honor of being named class salutatorian is Kathleen Prychitko, a member of Miss Annie Cairns' homeroom. On a'college preparatory course, she graduates with an average of 97. 46. Active in clubs and sports, Kathleen is a member of the National Honor Society, Future Teachers Association, Hi-Teens Thespian Club and the Cosmos staff. Athletically inclined, she is on the school golf, tennis and basketball teams. In the near future, she plans to attend Western Michigan Univer - sity where she will study to be- come an early elementary teacher.
