Valedictorian Salutatorian GERALD DUBIE Gerald Dubie, with an average of 98.04, is the valedictorian of the class of January, 1957. While in high school, Gerry was president of the National Honor Society and the H-Club. He served as sergeant-at-arms of the Thespian Club and a Junior Rotarian. Gerry is rated tops in tennis in the Western division. His other interests include dancing, basket- ball and the sciences. He has plans to attend Yale University. Electrical engineering and philosophy are his academic interests. DOROTHY CHUBKA In second place on the honor roll is Dorothy Chubka, with an average of 97. 75. Dorothy has proven herself an all-around girl at HHS. President of the Forensic Society, vice president of the National Honor Society, January editor of the yearbook and chairman of the Student Association Committee are some offices that she has held. Other interests are dancing, tennis, basketball and swimming. Her plans include a study of merchandising at Wayne University.
