Conklin It is only fitting and proper that the class of June, 1935, take this meager op- portunity to express our gratitude for the aid and gentle counsel of those who have done so much for us. Therefore, with the sincere hope that this act may compensate, we humbly dedicate this book to Mr. E. M. Conklin, our principal, Mr. D. T. Mussel- man, his assistant, and to Mr. A. J. Mentli- kowski, our sponsor. Mr. Conklin has always been tolerant and lenient with us. More than that, he has been understanding and kind! Our as- sistant principal has worked with us in solving our problems and has been ever our port in distress, and our consolation in trouble. Mr. Mentlikowski has never failed in his duties as a sponsor-eager to advise, willing to give his aid. To these three, we extend our heart-felt thanks! His own diligence and ' perseverance has been an ever- Dr. M. R. Keyworth present example to us. VVe are deeply indebted to him for his leadership. It was Dr. Keyworth who conceived and executed the plan of student direction in the schools of Hamtramck. Educators throughout the na- tion have acclaimed him for his work. Now as we leave, we extend to Dr. Keyworth our best wishes, our cooperation and our hope that he may continue his in- estimable leadership as an out- standing educator.
